An extra-short and sweet ride report today...
Good turnout: Liz (Yea, welcome back!), Mary Ann, Jerry, Robert, John, and me... as seems to be the norm these days, we started out in a damp, fog. The thick marine layer really didn't break up until we reached the top of the Scripps Poway Parkway climb. (BTW: I was happy to find my climbing legs today and was able to go wheel-to-wheel on SPP with His Lightness, Jerry.) The descent from Mount Woodson was a good fun and all the more enjoyable for the full sunshine which had finally taken over. The Highland Valley Road section was, as always, a delight to twist, turn, and drop down through. Jerry and I managed to find a couple of those roadside pomegranates that we noticed last month. And as promised, we topped off the ride with a stop at Starbucks in RB! Cheers, Steve
