Tuesday Ride Report - ACHD - Sorrento Valley

We had another nice turnout this week with ten riders for Group Choice Day. Special note for the return of Rick and Mike P.: Good to see you both back on the Tuesday Ride.
 
Not many scenic pictures today, it was a bit of an urban ACHD Ride, although we did get to ride some nice hills. Jerry made up for missing the Montezuma Grade on Saturday and burned his way up most of them.  I'm sure everyone enjoyed the descent into Sorrento Valley - seemed like there were lots of 40+mph readings.
 
Only one flat, and one extreeemely slow tip-over (oh, the embarrassment for me.) Fortunately, the coffee and sweets at Caffe Positano helped soothe the lingering aches.
 
Hey, we passed at least half a dozen polling places today, I hope you all have voted! 
  
Next week, something different: bike & train!
Sprinter Special II
Date: Tuesday November 13, 2012
Time: 8:30am
Poway to Escondido and on through Harmony Grove/Elfin Forest. Out to the coast and then north to Oceanside Transit Center to return on the Sprinter.
 
Note: One-way Sprinter fare is only $2 (only $1 for Seniors with ID.)
