Java Journey

Our ride today was a relatively short one, the Java Journey route, but the ridership was good with ten of us braving the early morning cold. No flats, crashes, or mechanical problems today, just fun riding.
 
What JJ lacks in mileage it more than makes up for with a nice dose of hills, with the Valley Center climb as the centerpiece - and I think we all enjoyed the descent on the way back. A bonus was the bright sunshine, crisp, clear air, and lots of small clouds which made for some dramatic vistas.
 
Java Journey itself was its usual good stopping place. Plenty of hot coffee, chocolate, or tea, and plenty of choices in the pastry basket for the indulgent!
