VVV’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how VVV’s visitors use its website. VVV also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments blogs. VVV only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Certain visitors to VVV’s websites choose to interact with VVV in ways that require VVV to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that VVV gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for our Google Group to provide a username and email address. Your Posts and Activity Participation
VVV is primarily a social/recreational cycling group. By signing up with our Google Group, Facebook page, posting/commenting to the blog, or accessing other interactive aspects of the website you may make information visible. When you post content on a VVV website, blog, etc. you have the ability to post content which may include personally identifiable information about yourself. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. When you participate in public VVV activities, you agree that images or descriptions of the activity, which may include you, can be published in any VVV forum.
If VVV, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired by, or transferred to a third party, user information would be part of such transfer. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of VVV may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
